Cheryl Shaw Barnes, author, illustrator, publisher of educational children's books. She is also Executive director of the Wheelchair Foundation, a non-profit organization that has given and distributed over 200,000 wheelchairs to disabled people around the world.

Nancy Cardwell

Nancy Cardwell is a former newspaper editor and currently an author of books on transformational leadership. Her personal journey of spiritual development, combined with her years of business experience, bring a valued perspective to the Sapira board.

Katherine Saad Feghali

Kathy was born in Beirut, Lebanon and has spent her entire life living between the east and the west.  She is an Industrial Psychologist who has worked extensively in both ergonomics and management.

Leslie Miller

Leslie Miller is Religion Editor at USA TODAY newspaper, and is a Benedictine oblate associated with the Monastery of Christ in the Desert, near Abiquiu, N.M. She is also on the board of directors of the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation in Bethesda, Maryland.

Regina Roman

President of Sapira, is a retreat facilitator and spiritual guide trained at the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation where she also served as associate staff for the Soul of the Executive Program. Her roots are in the Anglican faith tradition having earned a lay diploma in theology at Virginia Theological Seminary. After receiving a Masters in Business Administration in Boston, she began her professional commercial banking career serving companies across the nation. Her career culminated as the first female board member of the oldest banking thrift institution in the state of Virginia. While living oversea, Regina traveled extensively as group organizer, guide and pilgrim.

Oran Warder

Oran Warder is an Episcopal priest and Rector of St. Paul's Church in Alexandria, Virginia. He is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Diocese of Virginia as well as an adjunct instructor of liturgics at the Virginia Theological Seminary. A fellow traveler with a pilgrims heart, he serves as an advisor to Sapira for pilgrimage program development and made a pilgrimage to Egypt with Sapira in the fall of 2003.
